Terms of use

StudyKit is a platform for sharing practice tests. Users post tests, other people sit them, and the system marks the parts a machine can mark and stores your scores for you to follow.

StudyKit is not a school or a tuition centre. We do not teach, we do not run classes, we award no certificates, and we hold no exams. Nor do we vet a test's quality before it is posted.

You sign in with your email address; there is no password. Anyone who can open your email can get into your account, so look after it.

Age

13 and over. Between 13 and 16 you need a parent's or guardian's consent.

One account per person

Do not share an account so that several people sit the same test on it.

Real details

Your display name is what teachers and classmates see. Do not impersonate anyone.

Deleting your account

You can delete it at any time. Email us and we will erase it within 30 days.

You keep every right in the tests you post. We take no ownership and we do not sell your tests.

You give StudyKit permission to store, display and distribute that test on the platform, so that other people can sit it and so it can appear in search. That permission is free of charge and is used only to run the service. Take the test down and the permission ends with it, except for attempts already submitted, which the people who sat them need to be able to review.

When you post, you are stating that the test is your own work, or that you have the right to use and share it. That is your undertaking, not ours.

• Tests copied from books, real exam papers, or copyrighted material you have no right to use
• Real exam papers still under embargo, or papers obtained from a leak
• Content that is abusive, discriminatory, inflammatory, or unsuitable for people under 18
• Other people's personal information, including inside a passage or an illustration
• Disguised advertising, or empty tests that exist only to send readers somewhere else
• Malware, phishing links, or ways of exploiting faults in the system

We take down a test that breaks these rules without notice where the content is immediately harmful. In every other case we tell whoever posted it and give them time to respond.

A public test can be found and sat by anyone. A private test is reachable only with its link, and anyone holding that link can pass it on — so do not treat a link as a secret.

A teacher who assigns a test to students sees the name, email, submitted work and scores of the people they assigned it to. If you would rather nobody saw those, do not accept assigned tests and sit public ones instead.

Whoever shares a test is not necessarily its author. The test's feedback and marking are the author's responsibility.

Scores and feedback on StudyKit are for practice. They carry no weight with any exam board, school, immigration office or employer.

Exam names such as IELTS, TOEIC and SAT are the trademarks of other organisations. We use them to say which exam a test practises for. StudyKit is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting for any of them.

Exam pages carry links to where the real exam is booked. StudyKit does not sell exam places and does not hold your money. Fees, dates and every other condition are set by the board and can change.

Some of those are affiliate links, meaning we may earn a commission if you book through them. We label them where they appear. Commission does not change the order of the tests we show you or what we recommend.

Sitting tests and posting tests are both free today. If part of the service is ever charged for, we will give at least 30 days' notice by email, and what you use for free today will not turn into a paid feature by itself.

We may add, change or remove a feature. If doing so would delete your data, we will tell you beforehand and let you download it.

If a test is wrong, report it from the review screen. The report goes to the test's author, who has 3 days to reply. Past that, we read it ourselves.

If someone has posted a test you hold the copyright in, send your complaint to [email protected]. We hide the test from search straight away, pass the complaint to whoever posted it, give them 48 hours to reply, and answer you within 4 working days. Three upheld complaints and that person loses the right to post tests.

We suspend or close an account when section 4 is broken, when someone uses the system to harm others, or when we are obliged to by a competent authority.

We say plainly why, and you can appeal by email. Your work and scores stay downloadable for 30 days after closure.

StudyKit is provided as it stands. We work to keep the system running well and the marking correct, but we do not promise that tests are free of errors, that the service is never interrupted, or that you will reach your target score.

We are not responsible for decisions you make on the strength of a practice score, for content other users post, or for your dealings with an exam board. So far as the law allows, our responsibility is limited to fixing the fault and, if you have paid for the service, refunding what you paid.

These terms are governed by the law of Vietnam. If there is a dispute, the two sides talk it through by email first, and go to court only if that fails.

When we change these terms we put the date at the top of this page, and email you 14 days beforehand if the change affects your rights. Continuing to use the service after the effective date means you accept the new version.
